PORTFOLIO ASSESSMENT STRATEGY
"To what extent were the conferences at Versailles a catalyst for future conflicts or ideologies in the world during the 20th Century?"
Instructions:
Throughout the course you will be gathering evidence that will help to frame your answer to the question above. You will need to include evidence from each unit we study. Your portfolio must include visual evidence, auditory evidence (your beliefs recorded using Aurasma, YouTube or videos on your Weebly website), and written evidence. Each unit will need to have at least one entry in your portfolio of how it has helped you respond to the question. Your Portfolios can be presented online using your Weebly website, or they can be compiled into a scrapbook. Suggestion - use the Colour, Symbol, Image Theory - for each unit: "Think of the big ideas and important themes in what you have just learned. Choose a colour that represents the essence of the idea. Create or find a symbol that you think best represents the essence of that idea. Sketch (or describe) an image that you think best captures the essence of that idea." - Using this theory for each unit would be a tremendous way to complete your Portfolio. |
Criteria for a Great Portfolio:
This will be designed together in class during our first week of the semester. The list will then be posted in this space. |
